Promptly is a course offered by Teléa [company registration number and full address to be added here], based in Portugal, referred to below as "we" or "Promptly". These terms apply to anyone who signs up for the course, a single lesson, or a 1-on-1 lesson (referred to below as "the student").
Promptly consists of 10 live lessons of 60 to 90 minutes, in groups of at most 10 students, in a Dutch-language and an English-language class. The full package also includes a bonus lesson, "Your first paid AI project". Single lessons and 1-on-1 lessons (90 minutes) can also be booked separately. A crash course of 2 days with 5 hours of 1-on-1 lessons per day can also be booked. Lessons are not recorded.
An agreement is formed once payment via Stripe is confirmed. After payment you fill in the signup form with your name, email address, and preferences, after which we contact you to agree on the class and lesson schedule.
All prices include VAT. Payment is made in advance via Stripe. We do not process or store any card or payment details ourselves — that is handled entirely by Stripe.
As a consumer you generally have a 14-day cooling-off period after purchase. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your first lesson starts. If you cancel within the 14-day period but after already having started one or more lessons, we'll charge a proportional amount for the lesson(s) taken and refund the rest. If you miss a lesson, let us know. In consultation we'll see whether you can join the other language class for the same topic, or you'll receive the notes from the missed lesson. There is no automatic right to a replacement lesson.
You are responsible for a working laptop, a stable internet connection, and (where needed) your own account with the AI tools used. We expect active, respectful participation in the lessons.
All course material (scripts, slides, examples) remains the property of Promptly. You may use it for your own learning purposes, but not resell, publish, or commercially reuse it without our permission.
We make every effort to deliver the course to the best of our ability, but do not guarantee any specific outcome. The course covers third-party AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Claude) that we do not control and are not responsible for. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service.
In case of force majeure (such as technical outages beyond our control, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances) we may reschedule a lesson. We will inform you of this as soon as possible.
We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your signup remains applicable to that agreement; changes apply to new signups.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence as a consumer. We prefer to resolve disputes directly between us before involving the competent court.
